Dr. Vaishampayan is the Assistant Health Officer for San Joaquin County, CA, overseeing TB and STD control and is the medical director for the public health clinic. Previously, she has worked at the California Department of Public Health and in local public health in Michigan. Dr. Vaishampayan received her medical degree and completed her residency in internal medicine and fellowship in infectious diseases at Wayne State University School of Medicine, Detroit, MI. She completed her MPH with a concentration in epidemiology and Preventive Medicine residency at the University of Michigan.
