Dr. Amber Mitchell has been focused on occupational safety and health related to preventing infectious disease for 20 years. She has worked in the uniformed services, public, private, and academic sectors. Dr. Mitchell began her career as the first OSHA National Bloodborne Pathogens Coordinator. She runs the International Safety Center, which has been distributing EPINet since 1992, and is an expert in injury and exposure incident surveillance and prevention.
